マスクは白と黒の対比で顔を半分にする特徴と、特にねじれた鼻とねじれた口といった Facial（顔の）特徴の全体的な歪みで識別される。白は死者の精霊の象徴であり、病気の治癒への希望を意味する場合がある。暗い色素は生涯にわたって人を悩ませる病気を象徴する。
黒と白の組み合わせはこの闘いを象徴している。

Die Maske ist an einem Kontrast von weiß und schwarz zu erkennen, der das Gesicht halbiert, und an einer allgemeinen Verzerrung der Gesichtszüge, insbesondere an der verdrehten
