ペルー中央銀行が発行した記念コインで、太平洋戦争の重要な局面のひとつ「ブレーニャの戦役」の100周年を記念するもの。アンドレス・A・カセレス将軍が指揮した軍事的背景。表面にはペルーの兵士の肖像が細密で力強い表現で描かれ、顔立ちと軍服のディテールが優れている。一方、裏面には繊細に仕上げられた国章が描かれ、ローリエとヤシの葉が両脇に配置されている。作品はオリジナルの輝きを保ち、フィールドは良好に保存され、浮き彫りはシャープで、MS63の等級に伴うわずかな痕跡のみを示し、現代ペルーの記念コイン収集の中でも頑丈で非常に代表的な一品である。
