プレ・コロンブ前のチム文明の布片 – ペルー北海岸
この布片には、ベージュ地の上に深い赤系の色調で描かれた二体の大きな人型像が示されています。各像は腕を上げ、幾何学的な体つきと特徴的な頭飾りを身につけています—一方は階段状の頭飾り、もう一方は王冠のような形で—これはチムの儀礼的図像の典型です。
像の下には、赤・黒・薄茶の横方向の帯が連なり、最後にオリジナルのフリンジの部分が続いています。これは衣服や装飾掛けに付随する特徴としてよく見られます。
時期: 西暦約1000年〜1200年頃
寸法: 20×18 cm
