ロシア産の希少で固有の天然PGE合金。
PGE（ラウライト）をクロマイト基質中に含む。
プラチナ族元素硫化物鉱石は、白金、ロジウム、イリジウム、オスミウムを含む鉱物で、主にNi-Cu-Cr-PGE鉱床に見られる。
天然のプラチナ硫化鉱物のモース硬度は4–5で、適度に脆い。
これらの鉱床は、マントル由来のマグマが硫化物で飽和すると、分離不連続な硫化物液が分離する現象により形成され、しばしば基性岩〜超基性岩と関連している。
非磁性
過酸化水素を用いて試験すると、即座に反応が触媒される。
