This is a silver-chrome Nikon EL2 paired with the highly regarded Nikon NIKKOR-H Auto 28mm f/3.5 wide-angle lens. The EL2 (1977) was the final evolution of the Nikkormat EL series and the very first Nikon body to feature the new AI (Automatic Indexing) coupling system, with aperture-priority automatic exposure controlled by an SPD (Silicon Photo Diode) meter. The NIKKOR-H Auto 28mm f/3.5 is one of Nikon's earliest wide-angle Pre-AI lenses, released in 1960 and praised for its sharp, contrasty rendering.
