「Hardcore」――伝説的な1999年デビュー写真集。日本の写真家・松下裕子のキャリアの出発点であり、真の monument である。

カメラを手にしたのは58歳のとき、1990年代を通じて日本の地下ハードコア・パンクバンド300以上を、下北沢ではなく高円寺の「Koenji 20000V」の舞台で記録した。その生々しいエネルギーは、GAUZEやWARHEADといったアイコンを含む約90バンドの記録として、この頁に凝縮されている。

彼女が2025年3月に逝去しても、写真の力は色あせていない。この作品群は、ライブ会場の生の熱気と被写体自身の生の活力をとらえ、時代を越えてパンクの魂を伝え続けている。

この本は、彼女の出発点を「高円寺のゴッドマザー」として示すもので、現在は絶版となっている。市場に現れる機会は稀で、貴重なコレクターズアイテムだ。
