Porcelain Canton famille rose vase-lamp from the late Qing dynasty ca. 1880, 31 cm high overall including the fitting, square baluster form with hand-painted polychrome enamelled scenes on two sides and florals on the others, with gold-gilded lion-head handles; originally a vase converted to a table lamp base in the 20th century; good antique condition with bright colours and no cracks or restorations; underside shows unglazed base ring with handwritten inventory numbers; lamp is functional and sold without the lampshade.
