Ancient Chinese Northern Song celadon-glazed two-piece cup and saucer (cup with flower-shaped rim and saucer with petal-shaped rim), ceramic/porcelain, 960–1127 AD, height 9.30 cm, cup diameter 7.20 cm, saucer diameter 12.80 cm, in good condition with a slight rim crack, authentic/original, name 宋代影青釉盞托(Lot.509).

Celadon-glazed cup and saucer
Description:
The entire piece consists of two parts: a cup and a saucer. The cup has a flower-shaped rim, an arched belly, and a ring foot. The saucer has a petal-shaped rim, resembling a shallow dish, with a raised center serving as the cup base, supported by a high ring foot. The entire piece is covered in a celadon glaze, a delicate and lustrous blue-white.
This piece dates back to the Northern Song Dynasty, approximately 960-1127 AD, and was made by Chinese hands. The materials used and the exposed clay areas help determine its material and production date.
Condition:
Good condition, with signs of use, a slight crack on the rim, otherwise intact, no signs of repair, and has been examined with strong UV light. (Please see photos if the text is not clear enough.)
