デストロイヤーを搭載したこのドラグスターは、ハーレーダビッドソンが自由販売のドラグスターを提案します。もはや一部の情熱を持つ人だけの爆薬ではなく、誰もが体感できる大量のアドレナリンになるでしょう… いえ、ほぼそうです。 このヤバい代物はそれでも45,000€で販売され、2006年にはわずか600台のみが生産されました。
2007年以前に手に入ることを期待しないでください。というのも、今年フランス向けに予定されていた2台はすでに予約済みで、1台はベルギー向けだからです。
V-ロッドの液冷ツインは、ストロークとボアの拡大により排気量を1,300ccへと膨らませます。その機会にヘッドを見直し、圧縮比を14:1まで引き上げ、鍛造成形ピストンを装着、ギア選択用の電動空圧式シフターを追加、クラッチを強化します。クラッチは本当に酷使されることになるでしょう。非常に大きなパワーを伝えなければなりません。V-ロッド・デストロイヤーは後輪出力で165馬力以上を発生します（クランク軸では180馬力以上になるはずです）。二気筒としては、これは凄いです！
それで余計なものをそぎ落とすのも当然です。 ウインカー、照明、排気、リアのサスペンション、そしてほぼ45kgを取り除きます。 デストロイヤーはウェイリーバーを装着した状態で空荷重量239kgを表示します。
この付属品を使えば、機械を転倒させるリスクなくハンドルを思い切り絞り上げることができます。 その獣を手にしたら、臀部をしっかり固定するために深くえぐられたサドルに腰をおろし、大きく開けて、祈ってください。
