Being a limited edition, each piece of the series “Origin” deeply explores humanity’s connection with nature through the collaborative genius of Portuguese artists Vhils and Bordalo II.
These prints, signed and numbered by both artists, are the culmination of the public wall mural created in Lisbon last April.
The artworks unite Vhils’ low-relief wall sculptures that reveal the layers of our material culture, with Bordalo II’s use of reused waste to critique excessive consumption. Together, they form a striking image that fuses the faces of a monkey and a man, symbolizing equality among all creatures.
This edition is a powerful statement about the interdependence of all living beings.
The print will be shipped rolled.
