Kozo Kato は、日本を代表する美濃焼の陶芸家の一人であり、志野と瀬戸黒の作品で高く評価されています。彼は日本で“重要無形文化財保持者”(通称 Living National Treasure)に指定されています。
This sake cup features a beautiful Shino glaze with a soft pinkish tone.
The thick glaze surface shows fine crackles, natural glaze variations, and kiln effects, giving the piece the warm and powerful character typical of Shino ware.
The surface also shows reddish firing tones and bluish-grey to brown kiln variations, making this small work visually rich and attractive.
It can be enjoyed both as a functional sake cup and as a collectible ceramic piece.
Comes with its wooden box.
