The heavy, high-voltage CRT monitor was replaced with a 15-inch LCD TV display, making the machine lightweight and safe. It features multiple inputs and comes with a remote control. Inside, the hardware is converted to a reliable Intel platform, fresh running Windows XP SP3—perfect for retro-gaming or collectors.

The front panel features a transparent plexiglass cover that follows the curve of the CRT. The front panel is easily removable to facilitate access to the interior.
The original CD-ROM drive is no longer present; data is entered via the keyboard's USB port. Only the bottom USB port on the iMac is active. The rest of the ports are inactive.
The front headphone jacks have been converted into an IR receiver for the remote control.
