Bernard Bloch - 皿 - Earthenware

Wall plate in faïence by Bernhard Bloch (1836–1909) from Allemagne, dating 1850–1900, 29 cm square with a broad black enamel border, hand-painted in browns, greys and blues showing a medieval castle by the water in a mountainous landscape; the reverse bears the BB mark and model No. 5034, the original hanging system, and it is in good used condition with a restored edge chip.
