ドミニカ共和国産のブルーアンバーは、珍しく澄んだ着色を示すアンバーの一種です。サンティアゴ近郊の山岳にあるアンバー鉱山で最も多く見られます。希少性のためあまり知られていませんが、ドミニカ共和国のアンバーが発見された時から存在しています。（ambar dominicano）
人工光の下では普通のアンバーのように見えますが、日光の下では強い蛍光の青色を示します。太陽にかざすと普通のアンバーのように見え、紫外線下では眩しい乳青色を放ちます。推定年齢は2500万〜4400万年前です。水のように透明で、完全に透明、コレクションに最適の唯一無二の個体で、カタウィキ上でオークションにかけられたことはありません。品質は高い。
