インド産グランドサーベル：
全長（ガードと pommeau を含む）: 117 cm
剣身とガードの長さ: 105 cm、刃長 94 cm。
時代：インド、19世紀。
Firangi はアラビア語（al-Faranji）に由来し、西洋の欧米人を指す語で、西洋で製造された刃を用いるインドの剣の一種でした。
この種の武器は、インドと西洋の交流で典型的です。古い欧州の刃は、しばしばポルトガル人の商人によって売られていました。
その長さのため、Firangi は通常、主に騎兵用の武器と見なされています。
これは、マハラシュトラ州（ボンベイ地域）およびラジャスタンに典型的な「KHANDA」と呼ばれる装具です。
柄は Khanda 型で、籠状を形成しており、栓頭が長い軸で延長されているため、両手で扱うことができます。
刃が非常に長い、両刃の剣です。
美しくまっすぐな刃で、さびつきなく、全体がしっかりしていて遊びがありません。
注：ガードにはごく微小な亀裂があり、目立たず、影響はありません。
