An impressive, very large, and heavy hand-carved polychrome wooden wall panel depicting the Hindu deity Krishna. Beautifully detailed, the god is shown with his characteristic blue skin, playing his flute (bansuri) in the iconic cross-legged posture. Behind him stands the holy cow. In his upper hands, he holds traditional attributes (the conch shell and chakra wheel). The figure is set against a richly carved, openwork background featuring floral motifs and a bird.
