AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

- Shooting limited edition of the work "Shoot the Dream - Wall ed" by the artist SKE
- Publisher: Atelier MONTMARTRE FineArt.
- FineArt print on museum-quality Hahnemühle art paper.
- ISO A3 format (42x29.7 cm), easy to frame.
- Edition number: 03/10

In this explosive scene, SKE distorts two popular icons: Lucky Luke and the girl with the balloon. But here the cowboy doesn’t shoot faster than his shadow… he shoots at a symbol.

The balloon, an image of dream and innocence, bursts in mid-flight. Not to destroy, but to reveal. Like an invitation to step out of the illusions imposed by a world saturated with codes, brands and false desires.

The work captures the energy of street art to deliver a simple message: sometimes you have to blow up the dream… to create a real one.

A direct, visual and impactful piece, faithful to SKE’s universe: playing with symbols to turn them around.

- ARTIST BIO:
SKE is a French self-taught, versatile artist who grew up in the culture of the 80s/90s, inspiring a large majority of his artistic works.

He constantly explores new techniques: acrylic painting, collage, stencil, graffiti, urban installations and digital art. His dynamic and expressive compositions, often with double meaning, merge the raw energy of street art with the visual impact of pop art.

After an exceptional year in 2025, SKE’s value has risen notably. Winner of the first prize at the Urban Master contest (2023), then elected Revelation of the Year at the Color Jam Challenge (2025).
SKE was selected as the "Artist of the Month" by the Opulence gallery in October, and also benefited from a feature in an American art magazine confirming his international recognition.

His works have already been exhibited in major venues in Europe, the United States and Asia, strengthening his place in the contemporary art scene. In parallel, SKE is also asserting himself in the digital art market, a major trend in these last two years, enhancing the appeal of his creations among collectors.

Icons of popular culture, bold graphics and texture play define a style that is now indispensable.

SKE is undoubtedly an artist to follow, to start or enrich a collection with rising value.

Récompensé Artist – Pop Art & Street Art Contemporain

A UNIVERSE BETWEEN HERITAGE AND MODERNITY SKE’s work is part of a prestigious lineage. His lines carry the visual efficiency of Keith Haring and Andy Warhol, while incorporating the subversion of Banksy or the pioneer Blek le Rat. His works bridge eras: they revisit classics, not hesitating to distorting Vinci’s Mona Lisa, Vermeer’s Girl with a Pearl Earring, Hokusai’s The Great Wave, or Picasso’s deconstructed forms, confronting them with a modern urban aesthetic close to Mr Brainwash or Kaws.

POP CULTURE & NOSTALGIA Drawing from the collective imagination, SKE manipulates icons of our childhood. He stages the Disney universe with figures like Mickey and Pinocchio, and the symbolic greed of Scrooge. The influence of gaming, comics and graphic novels is omnipresent: from Nintendo’s world and the legendary Game Boy, to Pokemon creatures (Pikachu, Charizard, Ash), and the Marvel superheroes. SKE crystallizes these memories in a manner similar to Daniel Arsham or Takashi Murakami.

LUXE, HYPE & CONSUMER SOCIETY In a style sometimes reminiscent of Alec Monopoly, the artist plays with the codes of success and materialism. The Dollar symbol sits alongside logos of luxury and fashion giants. His canvases capture the aesthetic of "Hype": you encounter the sneaker world (Nike Air Jordan, Adidas, Off-White) and haute couture (Louis Vuitton, Hermès, Louboutin). He also incorporates automotive adrenaline (Ferrari, Porsche, Bugatti, AMG) and precision watchmaking (Rolex, Tag Heuer), not to mention mass consumption icons like Coca-Cola. It’s a vibrant art, with textured finishes that sometimes resemble the glossy surface of Jeff Koons or the facets of Richard Orlinski.

This work is ideal for enriching a collection or bringing a dynamic touch to your interior.
