The very first image from the English Channel series (created in 2021) that gave birth to the ongoing project. The series explore ideas around the geopolitics of the channel between UK and Europe, The multiple layers represents subjects such as politics, power, memory & hope, as well as the blurred lines between dream and reality. Print 5 from an edition of 30.
The print has an embossed artist stamp on recto and is signed & numbered on verso. The lot includes a signed & numbered Certificate of Authenticity. The print will be shipped flat, insured, protected in acid free materials in a super rigid packaging.
André Lichtenberg's work has been exhibited in numerous art fairs, museums and private galleries worldwide, including the Barbican Centre London in 1998, Centre Pompidou/IRCAM, Paris in 2015/16 and Fabrica, Brighton in 2018.
