Pre-Columbian Casas Grandes ceramic bowl from Mexico, titled 'Bowl. Spanish Export License.', ca. 1000–1200 AD, interior decorated with a black double spiral and geometric elements plus two triangular sections with stylized human figures, exterior with black and red linear geometric decoration, dimensions 8.50 x 18.50 cm, restored over the breakline and in good overall condition, provenance private collection (Nevada; acquired from Robert Stolper, Bath, England, 1982).

Casas Grandes Decorated Bowl
Ca. 1000-1200 A.D., Northern Mexico.
Pottery bowl decorated on the interior with a painted black double spiral with geometric elements and two triangular elements containing two stylized human figures, both having an open toothy mouth. The exterior is decorated with black and red linear banded decoration with geometric elements.
DImensions: 8,50 x 18,50
Condition: Scattered mineral deposits on the surfaces. With restoration over the breakline. Good overall condition
Provenance: Private Nevada collection, acquired from Robert Stolper, Bath, England, 1982.
Collection # G88.
Important: Due to Summer holidays, Items sold at the end of July or August will be sent in September.
Notes:
The Ministry of Culture from Spain asks all sellers for invoices or other documentation able to prove the legality of each item before providing an import or export license.
- The piece includes authenticity certificate. The piece is in process of obtaining
Spanish Export License ( Passport for European Union). This process can take between 2 and 4 weeks.
- If the piece goes outside the European Union a new export license will
be requested by us, This process can take beteen 1 and 2 months.
According to Spanish legislation, items sent outside the European Union
are subject to export taxes and will be added to the invoice, at the
buyer\'s expense. These export fees are fixed on the final auction price
and the tax rate is not applied directly on the total value of the item
to be exported, but rather the different percentages by sections are
applied to it:
- Up to 6,000 euros: 5%./ From 6.001 to 60.000 euros: 10%.
- Shipped with Insurance.
