Coffee and tea service in heavy, solid pewter, crafted in the second half of the 20th century by the esteemed Portuguese manufacturer Estanhos Mart.
The set stands as a fine art reproduction inspired by the great masterpieces of the Art Nouveau / Liberty period (early 1900s). Throughout the 20th century, the most prominent artistic foundries produced various versions and variations paying homage to historic European designs: this splendid service is a perfect and refined example. It features the classic organic relief motifs with leaves and plant tendrils, along with the characteristic sinuous "whiplash" lines that made this style famous.
