Vincent Decatはパリを拠点にするアーティスト—デザイナーで、エイントホーフェン Design Academy を卒業し、デザインと彫刻の境界を探求します。彼は物の耐久性を材料だけでなく、何より生み出す感情的な結びつきを通じて考えます。自分の作品をほとんど生きているかのようにすることで、それらは大切に世話をし、守り、慈しむべき仲間となるのです。
Earth Lampは暖色系の、焼けたテラコッタ色の手作りテーブルランプです。
その微妙な不規則さとニュアンスのある色合いを持つ堂々とした台座が、独特の表情を生み出します。真鍮のソケットが、ベル型の広がったシェードと結びつき、深くつや消しのブラウンを呈します。

Vincent Decat is an artist-designer based in Paris, a graduate of the Design Academy Eindhoven, who explores the boundaries between design and sculpture. He considers the durability of an object not only through its materials but primarily through the emotional connection we establish with it. By making his pieces almost alive, they become companions that need to be cared for, cherished, and preserved over time.
