バーミンガム造幣局でエクアドル共和国のために鋳造された1/2 Decimoの銀貨で、表面には象徴的な女性の横顔が描かれ、古典的で上品なスタイルで刻まれ、国の銘と年が取り巻く。裏面には、王冠の装飾の中に額面が配置され、共和国のモットー「EL PODER EN LA CONSTITUCION」が添えられており、当時としては制度的・政治的な強い意味を持つ。本品は卓越した保存状態が際立ち、浮彫は全体的にくっきりと定義され、強いサテン光沢と清浄な野（台）を特徴とし、MS66のグレードに相応しいごく小さな微傷だけが見られる。表面は均一で魅力的な銀色の外観と大きな視覚的新鮮さを維持しており、20世紀初頭にイギリスで作られたエクアドルの鋳造貨の優れた例を示している。
