ドミニカン・グリーンアンバーは、稀少で透き通った色調を示すアンバーの一種です。サンティアゴ近郊の山岳地帯にあるアンバー鉱山で最も一般的に発見されます。希少性ゆえにあまり知られていませんが、ドミニカン・アンバーが発見されて以来存在しています。（ambar dominicano）
人工光の下では普通のアンバーと変わりませんが、直射日光の下では強い蛍光ブルーの色合いを帯びます。太陽にかざすと普通のアンバーのように見え、紫外線下では輝く乳白色のブルーを呈します。推定年齢は2,500万〜4,400万年前とされています。水のように透明で、完全に無欠な個体で、コレクションに最適、Catawikiで一度も auction されたことのない高品質品です。
