この1990年式ホンダ・シビックは、ED/EFシャーシコードを用いた第四世代を代表する卓越したタイムカプセル的存在である。1980年代後半に導入されたこの世代のシビックは、ホンダの高度なダブル wishbone（二重ウィッシュボーン）サスペンションを四隅に採用したことで自動車業界を一新し、当時のF1レースで培った技術に大きく触発されたレイアウトとなった。本格的な軽量エコノミカーに、非常に正確なハンドリングとコーナリングの機敏性を与え、当時の多くのスポーツカーを凌駕するものとなり、世界中のドライビング愛好家の間で永久的なカルト的地位を獲得した。この特定の1.6リットル16バルブモデルは、走行距離約8.3万キロの極低走行車である。36年間の走行を通じて極めて低い使用量を維持しており、非常に良好で高度にオリジナルなサバイバルコンディションを示し、生涯を通じて慎重に車庫保管されてきた。
