1981年型シボレー・コルベットC3は、極めてオリジナルな状態で保存されており、全面的なレストアや再建を経ていません。市場に出回っている多くの個体が、あるいは大なり小なり修復済みであるのに対し、真のオーセンティシティを重視する人に向く車両です。
ボディは直線的で、重大な事故修理の兆候は見られません。車体は元のカラーを保ち、非常に良い状態を示しています。販売前にプロのポリッシュ作業を受け、塗装の状態を際立たせるよう仕上げられています。
私が使用した期間中、この車は塗装の再作業や板金・塗装による修理は行われていません。専門的な塗装の補正と磨き、ディテール作業のみを販売前に実施しました。
唯一注意を要するのは前のボンネットで、部分的に塗装が盛り上がっています。該当箇所の写真はギャラリーにあります。それ以外は車は非常に良好で、近距離でも遠距離でも素晴らしい印象を与えます。
ゴム部品、窓、照明、仕上げ部品は良好な状態です。前窓は過去にひび割れのため交換されています。車体には板金作業の必要はありません。
