A truly magnificent and exceptionally heavy antique solid silver sugar tongs with animal claw grippers, crafted by the highly prestigious Parisian luxury silversmith Orfèvrerie Boulenger (Paris, France).

Material: Solid French 1st Standard silver (950/1000 purity – higher grade and value than standard 925 sterling silver).
Hallmarks: Authenticated with the official French Minerva Head guarantee stamp (in an octagon profile) and the official diamond-shaped Boulenger maker's mark.
Design: Intricately hand-engraved Rococo scrolls set against a stippled background with a blank monogram cartouche and highly detailed beast/bird claw grippers.
