Fiat OSI 1200 S Coupé – 1966
1930年代以降のイタリアン・グランドツーリングの中でも極めて希少な一台、1966年式 Fiat OSI 1200 S Coupéを販売します。トリノの Officine Stampaggi Industriali (OSI) がFiatの機械系に基づき、 Giovanni Michelotti がデザインを手掛けた、1960年代を代表する名車のひとつです。
1960年代半ばに発表された1200 S Coupéは、熟成されたFiatの機械系とOSIが職人技で制作したボディを組み合わせた、ラインの美しさと伸びやかなプロポーションを特徴としています。長いフロントオーバーハ ング、低く落とされたルーフライン、ファストバック風のサイドビューがスポーティで時代を超えた個性を車へ与えています。
生産は極めて限定的で、総数70台のみ。現在では国際的なコレクター市場でも非常に稀少な存在となっています。コレクターの記録と現時点で確認できる情報によれば、現存する個体は約4台とされ、そのうち本車を含みます。
車両は1967年に登録され、初回登録時のナンバープレートを現状も保持しています。これはコレクターの間で特に価値のある要素です。約60年に及ぶ人生の間、オーナーは3人だけで、いずれも名車の愛好家・崇拝者でした。
