Born in Loja (Granada) in 1929, Pedro Maldonado is widely regarded as one of the finest masters of Andalusian guitar making. His instruments from the 1970s are highly sought after by collectors and professional players worldwide for their deep, warm, and distinctly Spanish tonal character, incredible sustain, and effortless playability. Tonally, this concert guitar strongly echoes the legendary José Ramírez 1A instruments of the same era.
