カスタムスタンド付きの素敵な化石化木の一片です。
Petrified Wood は、木が倒れ、土や砂の層に覆われたことにより鉱物化した木片です。しばしば自然災害が原因です。Petrified Wood に見られる色は、土壌や砂に含まれる鉱物次第で、各鉱物がそれぞれの色を生み出します。木の節、樹皮、年輪などのすべての特徴を保つ“化石化”の過程により、過去の遠い時代に起きた腐朽の可能性が、素晴らしい結晶構造と複数色の色合いを生み出します。

What began as annual trips to Indonesia, a family history descendant of Dutch Indies, and a passion for handmade objects has grown into the rich collection of design objects we offer today with pride.
We specialise in sourcing authentic, artisanal pieces directly from small family-owned ateliers throughout Java, Bali, Sumatra and beyond. Our collection ranges from hand-carved décor and bronze sculptures to natural-material homeware. Each item is carefully selected for its craftsmanship, character, and story.
We have over 10 years of experience working closely with Indonesian artisans. Because of this, our expertise lies in identifying high-quality workmanship, natural materials, and unique pieces that stand out. Every lot we list on Catawiki is personally inspected by us and supports the local communities and traditional techniques we deeply believe in.
