Description
A finely decorated brass vase, richly engraved with dense floral arabesque ornament and traditional Islamic decorative motifs, dating to the late Qajar / early Pahlavi period.

The vase has a rounded baluster-shaped body with a short neck and wide rim. The exterior is covered with highly detailed engraved decoration arranged in horizontal registers. These include floral sprays, scrolling arabesques, palmette-shaped cartouches, arched floral panels, geometric borders, and interlaced ornamental bands.

The decoration is especially dense and carefully executed, creating a strong visual contrast between the golden brass surface and the darker engraved background. The repeated floral panels and arabesque reserves reflect Qajar Islamic metalwork traditions, with a refined decorative rhythm across the body, shoulder, neck, and lower section.

The interior shows age-related oxidation and surface deposits, while the base shows patina, wear, and old surface marks consistent with age and use. The exterior retains an attractive antique surface with oxidation, patina, minor marks, and signs of traditional hand production.
