Vincent Decatはパリを拠点にするアーティスト・デザイナーで、アイントホーフェンDesign Academyの卒業生。彼はデザインと彫刻の境界を探究し、物の耐久性を材料だけでなく、何よりも喚起する感情的な結びつきを通じて考えます。自分の作品をほぼ“生き物”のようにすることで、それらは大切に世話をし、守り、慈しむべき仲間となります。
La lampe Anémoneは、海のアネモネの拡散する光と永遠の動きを体現するよう設計されています。海中世界の自然美に触発され、この生き物の優雅な動きを彫刻的な形に閉じ込めようとしています。

Vincent Decat is an artist-designer based in Paris, a graduate of the Design Academy Eindhoven, who explores the boundaries between design and sculpture. He considers the durability of an object not only through its materials but primarily through the emotional connection we establish with it. By making his pieces almost alive, they become companions that need to be cared for, cherished, and preserved over time.
