この皿は、透明釉の下のコバルト藍で手描きされ、ねじれた松、細い bamboo、開花する梅の枝を描く—松竹梅の図柄は、強さと幸運の古典的な象徴です。直径約33センチで、鍋島窯の特徴である高く際立つ足の上に置かれています。この規模の皿は日常用ではなく、 formal display のために作られ、鍋島窯の技術的洗練を示しています。静かな存在感と長く収集家に訴える genuine Edo期の作品です。
