Lancelot Ney est un artiste hongrois. Il étudie au Collège hongrois des Beaux-arts auprès de Istvan Réti. Il part en 1922 étudier en Allemagne où il rencontre Moholy-Nagy et Kurt Schwitters. Il a commencé comme dessinateur et caricaturiste puis s'oriente vers la peinture.
