Rare complete savings bank set issued by Crédito Predial Português. Manufactured by Bankers Utilities Co., San Francisco (Patented July 3, 1923). The lot includes the original metal "Book Bank", original cardboard box, matching savings passbook, and all original paperwork. The passbook and the bank bear matching number 25906. The first recorded deposit is dated 4 June 1973 for 500 Portuguese Escudos. An unusually complete survivor documenting the Portuguese banking savings program. Closed, not opened by owner.
