信楽の伝統に根ざした岐阜拠点の職人による、がっしりとした豊かな釉薬をまとった伊賀織部のぐいのみ。石器陶器で成形され、重厚な織部釉で仕上げられたこのぐいのみは、木炭焼きの表面に不規則に広がる深い緑の発色と、炎が粘土を撫でた箇所から現れる暖かな黄土色と焼け色を見せる。粗く手作業で整えられた縁と凹凸のある質感は、手の中に強く有機的な存在感を与える—このスタイルは塚本の初期の志野技法での修行と、岐阜・土岐の北斗窯で培われた彼自身の作風によって形作られている。
【Artist Profile】
塚本晴彦（1959年生）は、岐阜県土岐市を拠点とする陶芸作家で、野中春樹の下で志野を学んだ後、多治見市陶磁デザイン研究所でデザインを学んだ。1985年に土岐で自らの北斗窯を築く。彼は日本伝統工芸作家協会の正会員であり、朝日陶芸展のグランプリ、現代茶陶展の銀賞、タンコー ビエンナーレの特別賞を受賞しており、日本国内各地で多数の個展を開催している。
