Organisch-Modernistische Zilveren Design Armband – Menno Meyer – Jaren '70
schitterende, karakteristieke en handgemaakte zilveren klemarmband (bangle) van de bekende en hoogtechnologische Nederlandse edelsmid en beeldhouwer Menno Meyer (1930–2022). Dit sieraad is een schoolvoorbeeld van de Nederlandse modernistische designbeweging uit de jaren 70. Het unieke ontwerp balanceert op het snijvlak van Organisch Modernisme en Brutalistisch design. Het sieraad kenmerkt zich door een grillige, vloeiende en driedimensionale structuur met futuristische invloeden (Space Age), waarin de kunstenaar destijds pionierde. Het centrale sculpturale element aan de bovenzijde functioneert tevens als een vernuftig, blind geïntegreerd sluitmechanisme (haaksluiting). De armband bevindt zich in een prachtige vintage staat. De bewuste, diepgelegen oxidatie is volledig intact gelaten en zorgt voor een schitterend, expressief contrast met de glanzende, verhoogde delen van het zilver. Volledig gekeurd aan de binnenzijde Signatuur: Het ronde kunstenaarsstempel met de letters 'MM' (Menno Meyer).Meesterteken: Het zeshoekige atelierstempel 'FM2' (officieel geregistreerd bij de Nederlandse Waarborg).Gehaltestempel: Gekeurd met de Scandinavische import- of gehaltestempel '830S' (83% massief zilver), wat duidt op de robuuste kwaliteit en vroege vervaardiging.
