白とクリーム色のさまざまな色調の石と貝殻のビーズで構成され、糸を通した西アジア系のネックレス。ネックレス本体は小さく丸いビーズで編成され、やや大きめの筒形ビーズが所々で挿入されています。ネックレスの中央には七つのビーズを重ねたペンダント状のパーツがあり、形の不規則なビーズが一つ、三つの小さなビーズ、卵形のビーズ、扁平な貝殻ビーズ、そしてネックレスを通す穴のある円盤状ビーズが含まれています。ビーズの積み重ねは円盤状ビーズへ向かって大きくなっています。いくつかのビーズには自然な縦縞模様や表面の粗さが見られ、それぞれが独自の形と色・質感を持ちます。なお、このネックレスは留め具がなく、糸で通された状態です。
宝飾品は歴史の中で最も古い芸術の形の一つと考えられており、指輪、ブレスレット、ネックレスはほぼすべての古代社会に存在しています。メソポタミア期の西アジアは、珍しくも独特な宝飾パターンを多数有しており、古代の市民が自分を飾る材料として硬質石を好んで用いていました。社会が高度に発達していたことは、宝飾品づくりの技術と、精巧な模様・彫刻が一般的に見られる点からうかがえます。

We cannot be held responsible for any delays occurred by Custom Procedures. Import Tax or payable VAT depends on the Country of your destination. Payments of any taxes or any dispute with Customs Authorities are the sole responsibility of the buyer.
