Biography | LACRISS
ローマ生まれ、1990年4月生まれのLACRISSは、芸術を本能的な必然として捉えています。学校時代から、Drawingは自然な呼びかけとして現れ、ポケットに鉛筆を忍ばせて出かけることを“護符のようだ”と振り返ります。
建物の灰色さに退屈を感じたり、会話のリズムについていけない時には、それを取り出して自分の思考に形を与え、新聞の切れ端や紙ナプキンの端にまで空想の都市を描き出していました。その鉛筆は世界の平凡さに対する盾であり、残すべき痕跡がある限り彼女は生きる現実を持つことができる、という証拠でした。この絶対的な情熱は、今日、定義された職業へと花開きました。
都市文化、ストリートアート、写真の影響を受け、彼女の作品は生々しく独自のスタイルで現代美術シーンに位置づけられます。LACRISSはキャンバス上に自信と本能の言語を育み、絵具の滴り、太いアクリルの筆致、スプレーの層が表面を調和の混沌の中で染み出させます。混合メディア（炭、鉛筆、マーカー、インク）の使用が、ストリートのエネルギーを放つ鮮やかで色彩豊かな作品を生み出しつつ、雄大な存在感を保っています。
