Les statues anthropomorphes de l'ethnie Lobi revêtent une importance spirituelle et sociale majeure au sein de leur culture.
1. Origine géographique et culturelle
Le peuple Lobi : Cette population vit principalement dans une région transfrontalière située au sud-ouest du Burkina Faso, ainsi que dans les zones limitrophes du nord de la Côte d'Ivoire et du nord-ouest du Ghana.
