I am selling official badge of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic (Ordine al Merito della Repubblica Italiana), modern model (post-2001 visual reform), in the rank of Commander (neck badge / decorazione da collo).

The piece is an authentic state jewel, made of precious metal, ideal for collectors of decorations, military orders or historical European objects.

Technical details and specifications:

Material: Solid silver with a purity of 925 (Sterling Silver), covered with a layer of gold (vermeil technique). It has the official guarantee stamp on the edge (edge).

Exact weight: 58.8 grams (solid, robust piece).

Dimensions: Specific to the superior class of Commander (for men).

Obverse details: Central medallion with the effigy of Italy Turrita and the blue enamel inscription "Patriae Unitati • Civium Libertati".

Reverse details: The official emblem of the Italian Republic (star, cogwheel, laurel and oak branches) and the inscription "Al Merito Della Repubblica".

Condition: The piece is in excellent condition, according to the photos. The white enamel on the arms of the Maltese cross and the blue enamel around the medallions are intact, without chips or cracks. The original gilding is very well preserved, with a superb natural patina.
