黒い蝋でできた珍しい中世の seals。聖ヴォードリュの武具を、ひし形の盾内に配した紋章（十字架と三つのシェブロン）。周縁のゴシック体の伝説は部分的に読み取れ、Cantimpretの病院の荘園に言及しており、Monsの Sainte-Waudru大聖堂の章に属していたことを示している。
裏面には学識的 provenance と Bibliographic reference を示す古い手書きラベルが残っており、Monsの考古学サークル年報（Annales du Cercle Archéologique de Mons）に関連付けられていることが読み取れる。また「105」という古い手書きの在庫番号も存在する。
