1987年のDucati Paso 750は、Ducatiの歴史に転機をもたらしたオートバイです。
マッシモ・タンブリーニによって設計され、当時としては非常に革新的な完全覆式のカウルが特徴で、未来的で空力的な外観を与えました。
748ccのL型二気筒空冷エンジン（desmodromicバルブ機構）により動力を発揮し、スポーツ性能と安定で快適なライディングを両立。長距離ツーリングにも適して設計されています。その柔らかな流線的なラインは80年代の伝統的なスポーツバイクの常識を打ち破り、唯一無二の識別性を与えました。
