authentic Baltic amber with a warm honey-to-cognac coloration, polished to reveal a beautifully preserved MOSQUITO (Family Culicidae). The single insect inclusion is displayed in remarkable detail and exhibits the characteristic features of a mosquito, including exceptionally long and delicate legs, an elongated segmented body, narrow folded wings, and a fine, forward-projecting proboscis. The insect is preserved in a dynamic three-dimensional position, giving the specimen exceptional visual appeal and allowing the anatomy to be easily appreciated.
