極めて希少な鉄製タイムボウ・ブローチ 紀元前800–紀元前700年。
その堂々とした大きさと精緻なデザインを誇るこのブローチは、鉄器時代の銅像教養の見事な例です。
非常に大きくて重い作品です！！！！
元の針を含む最高の状態。
この大きく、雄々しくプロファイルされた弓形のブローチは、初期鉄器時代の近東を代表する衣装用ブローチのひとつです。強く曲がった弓は、交互に輪郭のある部分と滑らかな部分に分かれ、精巧なリブと膨らみを特徴とします。針受けと脚部はしっかりと作られています。弓の端は螺旋状に rolled されており、この時代の近東ブローチの典型的な特徴です。
このタイプのブローチは実用的な衣服の留具として機能する一方で、富裕階級の衣装の象徴的役割も果たしていました。
