A striking and highly decorative West German Fat Lava floor vase, produced during the 1970s. This large ceramic vase features the iconic volcanic (“Fat Lava”) textured glaze combined with deep cobalt blue flowing glaze, creating a dramatic visual contrast typical of German studio ceramics from the period.

Its impressive height and bold cylindrical form make it an outstanding statement piece for Mid-Century Modern, Space Age or Brutalist interiors. The vase is equally attractive displayed on its own or with dried branches, pampas grass or other decorative arrangements.
