An elegant Edwardian walking cane featuring a natural stag antler crook handle mounted with a finely decorated sterling silver collar, hallmarked for London, 1900.

The silver collar is richly engraved with scrolling foliate decoration and a central cartouche engraved with a period monogram, providing an attractive contrast to the naturally textured antler handle.

The cane is fitted with a carved hardwood shaft, retaining natural knots that have been carefully enhanced with hand-carved detailing to imitate the appearance of a natural branch. It is finished with its original metal ferrule. The combination of stag antler, sterling silver and carved hardwood was highly popular around the turn of the twentieth century, producing canes that were both practical and elegant.

The substantial antler handle offers a comfortable grip, while the quality silver mount and finely carved shaft give the cane an attractive, well-balanced appearance.

Good antique condition. The antler handle and sterling silver collar are in very good condition with light wear consistent with age and use. The carved hardwood shaft remains straight and sound, showing minor surface wear together with a small age-related crack near the lower section. The original metal ferrule displays expected wear consistent with age and use.
