丁寧に磨き上げられた両面カボションのチャロアイトで、豊かな藤紫色調と、独特な絹のような渦巻く繊維状模様を特徴とします。標本は両面に強い絹光沢を示し、黒いアエギリンと茶褐色のタイナサイト含有物が入り組んで内部構造を際立たせています。
チャロアイトは世界で極めて希少な珪酸塩鉱物で、発見されている場所は一箇所だけです。場所はロシア・シベリア、サハ共和国（ヤクーチア）にあるムルン複合体のチャラ川地域です。
この標本は長円形の涙型へと手仕上げで磨き上げられ、滑らかな曲線の縁を有しているため、単独のポケットストーンとしても、鉱物キャビネットの展示品としても、あるいはカスタムジュエリーの中心宝石としても等しく適しています。）
