皿 - Ceramic

16th‑century ceramic plate from Italy, diameter 37.5 cm, height 4 cm and depth 2 cm, with a Renaissance profile and the inscription “LA CICILIA B. [ELLA]” on the front and the date 1543 plus a word on the back, mid‑blue cobalt and light blue foliate borders, condition discreet as very well used with probable small missing pieces, including a firing flaw at the bottom right, a minor back chip and a hairline crack across the back; attribution is unknown, perhaps Deruta.
