A finely crafted small chest (小箪笥) with seven drawers (7杯), a traditional storage piece from the Hida Takayama (飛騨高山) region, celebrated for generations of skilled woodworking. Made from natural zelkova wood (欅), the piece showcases rich, expressive grain patterns that develop deeper character with age and use, giving it a quietly refined presence suited to both traditional and contemporary interiors.

The front is accented with black lacquered metal fittings at the corners, paired with sturdy pull handles. The contrast between the warmth of the natural wood and the crisp, substantial metalwork lends the chest an elevated, quality feel.
