標本は入念に清掃し、入念な防錆処理を経た後、この薄片をダイヤモンド糸で切断し、元の輪郭を保持しています。 
両面を磨いて、ウィドマンシュタット組織のさまざまな色調をよりよく鑑賞できるようにしました。

Excelente rebanada de Octaedrita Fina de Meteorito Muonionalusta. Fue localizada por mí, cerca del paralelo 68° norte, a unos 95cm de profundidad, durante la expedición que realizamos el verano de 2.023. El especimen lo hemos limpiado a conciencia y  tras un minucioso tratamiento anti corrosión, se ha cortado esta rebanada fina con hilo de diamante, conservando su contorno original. Ambas superficies las hemos pulido para apreciar mejor distintos matices de su maravilloso patrón de Widmanstatten. Se envía en caja de exposición transparente y flexible, con tarjeta certificado de autenticidad IMCA 5955.
